“ART FROM LIFE: THE HUMAN FORM,” an exhibition of figurative art, art works of nudes and partially nude figures, created from life (i.e., live models) by local and regional artists, will open on May 16, and will run through Jun. 7, 2012 at Livingston Center for Art & Culture, located at 119 S. Main St., in Livingston, MT (59047). Poetry in the Windows
Take a poetry tour this month!
Elk River Books and the Livingston Center for Art and Culture are collaborating to bring Poetry in the Windows to downtown Livingston. Poems by local authors will be on display in the windows of over 40 downtown businesses during the month of April, National Poetry Month.
A POETRY READING will be held at the Center (119 S. Main St.) on Friday, April 20 at 7:00 PM.

FIGURE DRAWING CLINIC
Sundays, March 11 – April 1
1:30-4:30 PM
Instructor David Swanson will provide a solid foundation in drawing from a live model in this workshop covering gesture, line quality, and modeling. Artists work in the medium of their choice (graphite, charcoal, conte, or ink on paper).
Cost: $100, 0r $95 for members and students (covers model fees, but does not include materials)
