Sweet Stuff 2013
Opening Tuesday…”Our Valentines”
…an exhibit of paintings, sculpture, photography, handturned wood bowls, jewelry, and ceramics.
A reception will be held Friday, Feb. 1 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
Also showing at the Livingston Center for Art and Culture are works of art by children who participated in the Read for Peace, MLK Jr. Service Day at LINKS for Learning. Read for Peace is part of a statewide AmeriCorps project where volunteers from the community go into classrooms and read a short story about peace or MLK Jr. to elementary school kids. After hearing the story, the kids draw, color and imagine what peace looks like to them.
