Call for Art – Community Show: Altars

19th annual Livingston Center for Art and Culture Community Art Show: Altars

altar – “a raised structure or place where an artist can place their inspirations and dreams…”

On display from Tuesday 02/20/2018 through 03/17/2018.

A reception will be held on Friday, March 9th from 6 to 8pm. The Livingston Center for Art and Culture is looking for works of original art from all members, ages 2 to 102, of the Park County Community. All media welcome for submission; for example, but not exclusively: painting, drawing, glass, ceramics, fabric, photography, fiber-arts, silkscreen, multi-media works.

Please submit no more than three pieces so that everyone can participate. Submitted works should be no larger than 36″ x 48″, if they are, we may be only able to have a single piece hanging in the gallery. Works must be ready to be displayed and hung, d-rings and wire on the back of paintings is preferred. Work can be themed along the subtitle of Altars, but not required.

You do not need to be a professional artist to show, but if you are, please do not submit work already shown locally!

Digital Images Required – Please apply via this form and then send email samples of your work to kathy@livingstoncenter.org by no later than Tuesday, February 13th before 4pm.

Chosen pieces (you will be informed by email) need to be brought to the gallery by no later than Saturday, February 17th by 4pm.
