Out of the Blue Antiques and the Livingston Center for Art and Culture are collaborating efforts to build the initial foundation for the John and Rosemary Bashor Scholarship Fund. This scholarship will benefit qualifying Park High School students who are interested in pursuing a degree in art from Montana State University.
Please join us at the Livingston Center for Art and Culture during the Art Walk on September 25, 5:30 to 8:00 PM. Proceeds from this collection will build the foundation for the scholarship fund. Nearly 200 original paintings are being donated by Rosemary Bashor and Out of the Blue Antiques in Livingston from the personal collection of John and Rosemary Bashor. Rosemary considered these to be John’s best creative works. These works have never been shown before. The pieces are unframed and set at a uniform price.
John Bashor was the head of the Art Department at Montana State University from 1966 until he stepped down in 1977. He continued to teach at MSU until his retirement in 1988. From that point John and Rosemary shared their love of creating together at their home and studio in Bridger Canyon and their winter home in Bouse, Arizona. John Passed away in December of 2013. Rosemary resides in Bozeman, MT. Out of the Blue handled the Bashor estate and continues to sell the Bashor collection at 211 South Main in Livingston, MT.

The show will run from Sept 12 to Oct 10, 2015.
